Story:
Lovely Raven Photography has been a 15-year labor of love for me. I began photography as part of therapy, and it didn’t take long for it to become my passion. Over the years I have experimented with multiple genres starting with landscapes until finally settling primarily on portraits and performance photography. For me photography is so much more than just getting the perfect shot. It's about the emotion that is evoked by the viewer of the image, the memories that are triggered by the people and/or the moment captured in the photograph, or the power and confidence felt when a subject gets to see themselves through my camera. I currently live and create in my hometown of Spokane Washington, where I live with my husband Andrew who has recently caught the shutterbug and joined me in this journey and my business, and I look forward to all the projects the future holds for us.

True art comes from collaboration and this session was a fun, my model Mariah had so many ideas it was hard to narrow it down to just 2! My assistant was running around like crazy to get the smoke just right! We couldn't help but giggle. I love creative shoots and working with the client to give it life is so rewarding

Story:
Hi! My name is Stephanie, I am the face of SKH Boudoir and SKH Images, I am the mother of two beautiful boys. My oldest was born 16 weeks early and spent the first 4 months of his life in the hospital, not to long after he came home I fell into a nasty depression, hated everything about myself, I struggled everyday trying to find a reason to love myself, I picked up a camera as a form of therapy, I found helping other women was healing me in a way that i couldnt describe. So my lifes mission has simply become to help women learn how to love themselves, build up their confidence or simply be a safe place for them.

This session was about women coming together and just having fun with a purge theme, while we were there we had a group of women jump out of their vehicles and tell them how awesome they were for supporting each other and for simply going for it!

This is the very last topic i ever thought i'd be featured in. This Session was Completely out of my regular style. Erin (the Blonde) Requested a Halloween shoot, at first, I was Hesitant, as it does not line up with my Culture and upbringing but we decided to do it but with some class. They did a "death of Earl" and then the picnic i suggested. I labeled the shoot Pumpkin Princesses. They did it to celebrate a 30th, and of course their love for the spooky season. It got darker quicker than we hoped, and we ended up pulling the truck down to the site, with it's cream yellow headlights on, that too created a very warm feel. I was over all pleased with what i was able to deliver to these beautiful ladies! She brought smoke bombs that we used for a nice spooky effect.

Hello! My name is Jennie Knudson. I am just a Minnesota girl living in North Pole, Alaska. I'm a part time photographer/business owner, a full time Accounting Manager for a non profit organization, plus I'm also a full time mom and wife. I'm super lucky to have had 2 gorgeous daughters in this beautiful state of Alaska to have practiced on over the years. Growing up, I always had a camera at hand and was always begging my parents to buy me film. I remember hating every minute of the three days I had to wait to get my pictures back. Seeing my pictures for the first time was always the best feeling. The joys before digital cameras! My passion for photography grew even more the day I got my first digital camera, which just so happened to be the day my second child was born. Photography is truly my heart and soul. I'm constantly growing, learning and exploring the art that I love! Being able to share the joy I get from photographing people is my passion and I would love to capture your moments!
